In 2018 I decided to do 36 Days of Type, partially because I wanted to, but mostly because several of my very talented co-workers peer pressured me into it. I chose to illustrate letters like little houses, which is something I'd already been playing around with in my sketchbook for years, I'd just never had a real project to do it for. Finding the time after work to design and illustrate a whole new letter every day (and also do things like cook dinner and exercise and stuff) was a huge challenge, so I'm very proud of the fact that I actually managed to do it!
